7:00 – 8:30 pm: 7-Minute Snappers: Industry experts update on what you Need to Know NOW in the Condominium Industry

The 2022-2023 Board of Directors term of office expires October 25, 2023. At this year’s AGM, the Board of Directors will be putting forward a change to the bylaws to increase the number of sitting Directors by two (2) seats. With this change, there will be five (5) positions for Director available for a three (3) year term on the CCI Eastern Ontario Board of Directors.

If you wish to put your name forward as a Director, please email a brief bio and your involvement and experience in the condominium industry. We welcome interest from all categories of our membership. 
 
Written nominations for Candidates to sit on the CCI Eastern Ontario Chapter Board of Directors will be accepted prior to September 28, 2023 and may also be submitted at the Annual General Meeting on October 25, 2023. Please return your completed nomination form to the CCI-EO Offices at info@cci-easternontario.ca by the deadline.

Director: Constance Hudak

Within CCI's Eastern Ontario Chapter, Constance has served its Board of Directors for 14 years, with former roles of Education Chair, President and currently sits as Vice President.   Constance has a lengthy and strong background in both government and the private transportation and communications business sectors.   She has extensive experience in project management, working with international consulting and software firms, providing direction and leadership to multi-million dollar projects. She is currently the President of two Condominium Corporations in Ottawa.

 


Lawyer: Patricia Elia, B. Comm. LL.B., A.T. Coach, Elia Associates PC

Patricia Elia is a senior lawyer with Elia Associates and has practiced law for 25 years in the areas of corporate law in large and medium firms before coming to Elia Associates. Patricia is intrigued by the interplay of economics, the law and critical thinking models. As a trained mediator, she understands the value of early and creative dispute resolution opportunities. As an active industry participant, she believes that the sharing of knowledge is empowering for Boards of Directors. Patricia's commitment to condominiums has been in leadership roles such as the President of CCI Huronia, Co-Chair of CCI's National Council, a member of CCI National Executive and a member of all 5 Ontario chapters. She has also sat as Vice-Chair of CCI National's Government Relations Committee and Governance Committee. She is a founder of Women in Condos. She has been a Condominium Director for the last 18 years and a Unit Owner of a condominium. Patricia is passionate about the condominium industry because of the important role condominiums play in the lives of real people.


Engineer: Justin Tudor

Board Member – CCI – Eastern Ontario
Board Member – Construction Specifications Canada – Ottawa Chapter

Justin is the President and Senior Project Manager at Keller Engineering, a multi-discipline building science and envelope firm that has been providing tailored engineering investigatory and project management services with a focus on condominium restoration since 1982. He has more than 15 years of experience in the field of building science and structural engineering.

Justin has overseen and completed hundreds of reserve fund studies, building conditions assessments, and technical audits, while leading building element investigation including odour transfers, cladding failures, water infiltration, concrete, masonry deterioration and membrane replacements.

As a contract administrator, Justin prepares drawings and specifications for the structural rehabilitations, window and roofing replacements, parking renewals, and envelope restorations.


Auditor: Nadia Duskolova 

Nadia is passionate about helping her clients plan for the future and operate their businesses efficiently. She is excited to assist entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organizations with their accounting, assurance or taxation needs, and truly enjoys providing satisfying client solutions and quality services. Nadia earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce with Specialization in Accounting degree from the University of Ottawa before joining McCay Duff LLP in 2018. In her spare time, Nadia enjoys running and travelling.

 


Manager: Joshua VanHooydonk

Joshua is an experienced property manager with a diverse background in security, construction, and fire prevention. He excels in conflict resolution, customer service, and compliance with relevant laws. Known for his tech-savvy approach and investor mindset, Joshua is committed to creating harmonious living environments and maintaining property integrity.
